Exploring the unexplored places of any city is really challenging. It is a little risky event in case you got nothing new.
The famous spots of Agra are Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Mehtab Bagh, the tombs of Mughal rulers, etc. Apart from also the city of Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India has a lot to offer. Let’s talk about those places about which not many people have told you. I went to Delhi to Agra by car, 3 months ago and I visited two out of these places. When I went over there the next time, I visited some other places also and I found them very interesting. Some of these places are Guru Ka Tal Gurudwara, Keetham Lake, Hewitt Park, Kinari Bazaar, Ram Bagh, Lower Haramsara, Birbal Bhavan, etc. These spots will also inspire you like the other tourist spots to come to Agra again and again. It is worth visiting multiple times.
Kinari Bazar is a small market near Jama Masjid. If we count the old markets of Delhi, there is Loha Mandi also. Loha Mandi is an Iron market in English. Agra is also known for a Barber’s market in Agra and a Sabzi Mandi which is called as a vegetable market in English. It is a very interesting place. The best way to explore Kinari Bazar is through walking. There are very nice, beautiful things over here. You will get great fabric, silver jewelry, everyday items, food items, and everything. It is good for wedding shopping.
It is located on Fatehabad Road, impeypura, Tajganj, Agra. Akbar International is a place where many things are preserved. There are things about Art of Parchinkari. It has been known for the same since 1979. There are many antique items. They are many and they are awesome. There are around 10 showrooms of such type and there is no limit to the number of designs available. The items are so unique that nobody can resist them at all.
UP handicraft and Handloom centre
Up Handicrafts and Handloom Centre is a place for household items and women wear. It is located quite near the Taj Mahal. This is the biggest advantage with up handicraft and Handloom Centre. The products that display here are quite reasonable as generally there are things in the old markets of the city. Besides, you get great quality and designs also. There are wooden carvings, embroidery goods, Rosewood elephants, cotton and Silk dresses, the statues of Lord Ganesha made up of wood and marble, the idols of Sai Baba, Lord Hanuman, Lord Krishna, and Goddesses.
Arambagh is also sometimes referred to as Rambagh. A birthday should not be confused with the monument called Ram Bagh in Rajasthan. The story related to its original name is even more interesting. Its original name is believed to be Bagh-Nur-Afshan. Some people believed that this name has been taken from one of the Gardens, located in Kabul, Afghanistan. There are different paintings and some pieces of evidence that shows the unmatched beauty of this garden. There are very big balls and corner towers surrounding the garden.
Birbal Bhawan is one of the historical monuments if you have ever heard the tales of Akbar Birbal. Or else it should be a historical monument. Akbar had nine jewels in his Court. Out of them, Birbal was his most intelligent one and his favorite too. It is a combination of Mughal and Persian style of architecture. It is completely e Royal as it has as eye-catchy designs, lush green lawn, etc.
It has various pillows around and open veranda. It is in Fatehpur Sikri. It is near the Palace of Jodha Bai. It is also opposite Birbal Bhavan. It is made up of red sandstone. There are motifs and carvings here. These are made up of intricate designs both on the interior and exterior. The palace is made in the style of Indian and Islamic.
Guru ka Tal Gurudwara
‘Tal’ means a reservoir. It was built to collect the rainwater. The association of the name of Guru is because one of the ten Gurus of Sikhism surrendered in front of Jahangir at this place. It is made up of marble. There were earlier 12 towers here. Now you may find 8 towers out of them.
Keetham lake is another location which is very nice, but it is not very famous. It is in the Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary. If you had a hobby called as bird watching or you love greenery or nature; this is a must visit spot for you. You can have the opportunity to see around a hundred species of migratory birds. You only need to come over here when there is a proper supply of water, as generally, migratory birds come to a new place when there is proper water. You may see egret, purple heron, Pintail, graying goose, comb duck, etc.
Its original name was Hewitt Park. It was the name of a Britisher. After independence, it was named as Paliwal Park. The name was given after the name of Shri Krishna Datta Paliwal. He was the first Finance Minister of UP. Its position is the center of Agra. The best time to visit here is the summer holidays.
Agra is a hub of tourist places in Uttar Pradesh. It was the second time when I visited the unexplored areas of Agra which are very well tourist spots. I was on the Delhi to Agra by car. It was an awesome experience and as I have written in the first paragraph that these unexplored areas have the potential to call you again and again; they really mean it. I am determined to make a comeback in Agra again along with my family and friends. I enjoyed you so much because I learned many new things and hidden details and I am proud of the fact that not many people know it.
