Your computer can never be too safe these days, so make sure it is protected from viruses and malware. Here is a list that you should know in order to improve the online cyber security of your computer to prevent your Data and information safe from hackers.

  • Enable Automatic Updates

These days, almost all programs come with automatic updates. You don’t have to click a button or download a file to update a program. It gets updated in the background without any input from you.

Keeping your system and programs up-to-date is the number one way to keep yourself safe against online threats. Hackers are always looking for unpatched systems. These updates fix bugs and patch security holes at the same time.

  • Never Leave Your Computer Unattended

This seems as the most obvious thing, but it still needs to be reminded. Never leave your computer unattended in public. Keep a habit of locking your PCs whenever you leave them, even if it is for a moment.

Also, set up a lock on them so that it gets automatically locked after a few seconds if they are not in use. This process is very important to secure your computer.
